Great keyboard with mouse pad!
Lightweight keyboard. Quite small, I wish it was a bit longer. Seems to be good Logitech quality. I use it sometimes for my gaming computer which is connected to my television. Haven't had any significant lag or problems. The mouse pad works fine. I found a helpful tutorial online for the keyboard which helped me understand the mouse pad better.

Nice and compact
Got this to use with my PS5 to navigate media and it works well as the system recognizes it immediately when plugged in. However this keyboard is missing the pause/break key which is crucial to navigate back to the home screen on the PS5, much like how the PS button on the controller functions, and without this key you will need to still use the controller for that one specific function so be aware of that if you intend to purchase this for use on that system.

It works well.
This wireless keyboard was purchased to control a mini computer connected to our audio/visual center, which is a limited use case, so our expectations aren't demanding. It works well for our purpose. The keys are nicely spaced for the limited typing we do, and the touchpad pad supports all of the necessary options and is easy to use with selections via either a tap on the pad or a mouse-key click. It is an attractive package and compact, which fits nicely into a easy chair pocket. It connects without issue across the room, and, so far, has exactly met the needed expectation of our use case. The easy sliding on/off switch is a nice touch to maximize battery life. I could easily have selected 5-stars, but, our is definitely not a very demanding case with modest expectations. I would buy this Logitech K400 Keyboard again.

Perfect for use with my Samsung Smart TV
I have two 6 Series (MU6290) 40" Samsung 4K Smart TVs that I purchased at Costco, one in my office and the other in my master bedroom. For about $19 I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse combo on Amazon to use with the TV in my office. They use a single unifying USB reciever and work great, just plug and play. The only thing I found I didn't like was having two devices to keep track of and having to switch between them to point and input data. I saw this keyboard as an Amazon Deal of the Day two days ago and just received it, in fact I'm writing this review with it while sitting on the bed and using my bedroom TV. It turns out to have been a very good purchase because it works great! I merely plugged the unifying USB receiver into the first USB input on the back of the TV, turned the keyboard on and started using it, true plug and play. And boy do I love using the touchpad to cursor around instead of having to switch between the keyboard and mouse like I do in my office. In fact, even though the keyboard and mouse work fine on the TV in the office, I may end up buying another K400+ to use in the office, it's "that nice" not having to use two devices. I know the K400+ is advertised as a device for using with a computer connected to a TV but I read other reviews where it was being used directly with a smart TV without a computer and, even though it works great with my Samsung, I can't speak to whether it works with all smart TVs, though I expect it should work with any of the later Samsung Smart TVs which use Samsung's Tizen OS. I don't know if it works with the other two major Smart TV operating systems, WebOS & Android. It's light, seems well made, has a QWERTY keboard with nice key response and feel and is spaced fine for touch typing. It's great for basic input and I'm finding out more about how it functions with my TV. For instance, I found out holding down the CTRL key while cursoring moves the cursor one word at a time, holding down the SHIFT key while cursoring highlights one letter at a time, holding down the SHIFT + CTRL keys while cursoring highlights one word at a time, etc. These are familiar, however I've discovered by playing around that other keys and key combinations do things but the result may not necessarily be what I expected, but I'm the type who likes to play and learn and will thus get even more use from this keyboard as I learn. For example, just discovered esc key is equivalent to the "back" function when used in your browser. I can mention the media keys, previous chapter, next chapter, pause/play, volume up & down don't work with my TV. I'm sure they do if the keyboard is connected to a computer that's connected to a TV, as advertised. However this keyboard is perfect for anyone who only simply wants to point and input, especially if you only want to use one device! Overall I'm "extremely pleased" with the K400+ and am so glad I decided to give it a try. Of course the only thing I can't comment on is it's longevity but I hope it lasts a good long time because I love this thing!

Great combo keyboard/touchpad for HTPC and server use
This Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch has worked great for both my HTPC and a server setup, controlling media on one and handling occasional game/system control on the other. The built-in touchpad is a nice touch, no need to grab a separate mouse just to navigate around. Range and connectivity have been solid from across the room with no lag or dropped input. Material feels solid for a budget keyboard, not flimsy or cheap despite the price point. Noise level is low too, quiet keys that don't clack loudly, which is nice for late night use near others. Durability has been great as well, still going strong with no sticky keys or unresponsive spots after regular use. Compact and simple, exactly what you want for a couch friendly control setup.

Great for budget entertaiment peripheral, outstanding operating system compatability
The Logitech K400 Plus is a great addition to your multimedia TV setup when you set up a PC or Android TV. Rather than using the remote with Gyroscope to type out each letter to a show or movie that you are trying to find, This wireless keyboard makes it easier for you to type the words out at ease without fatiguing you arms when swinging them back and forth to each virtual QWERTY pad on screen. It also has a built-in track pad that is conveniently placed on the right side so you can not only use typing, but also cursor your way to specific buttons and search bar. It is packed with so many features that I find it useful in any way. I mainly use it for my Android Box, so the digital volume button and the back button has been used plenty of times for me and I didn't have to cursor my way down to the task bar to change the settings from there. The connectivity is pretty simple as you turn on the keyboard, plug in the USB dongle in the box, turn on your TV, and it should recognize immediately without any use of driver install. The size of this keyboard is around a 65% layout with an added track pad to the side. It is on the thinner side, so don't expect that the keyboard is made with quality as it does display creeking noises when pressed down. Speaking of pressed down, the key strokes are not mechanical and have a short travel. It feel very mushy when pressed, not the best keyboard per say, but it does get the job done. Battery life, is surprisingly very good as it lasted quite a long time for me, but your mileage may vary as I turn the keyboard off after every use to conserve battery. I like how the USB is conveniently place in the back cover inside where you access the battery compartment. Now, the reason, why I gave this keyboard a 3 star, is because of the way the keyboard felt. Although its features is a standout, it ruined it for me with the mushy keys. I'm also comparing this to the Logitech K600 that I also owned and that keyboard, although a tad more expensive, felt way better then the K400. Too bad, I don't understand why Logitech still kept this keyboard the K400 and discontinued the K600. There is no way you can find psychically in stores or in any online sellers. The K600 keys are mushy, however, a different kind of mushy. This mushy is muted and very composed, while the K400 felt so out of place. The built quality, although both made of some find of plastic, the heft from the K600 felt like it is quality. The design on the K600 also felt like it was well thought out compared to the K400. Overall, as a budget wireless keyboard that is practically compatible with almost all platforms without any drivers needed is a huge plus for me. Anyone who are looking for a keyboard and wonder if it is compatible with their system, I can safely recommend this keyboard as long as they are only using it for a short while and not long sessions. I find that using this keyboard on long sessions can feel fatiguing and wanting to have that extra key travel that "normal" keyboards do.

Elevated my Linux HTPC experience
Perfect keyboard and trackpad combo for a Linux HTPC. Allows me to remove my Roku from my TV stand and primarily use a PC as the source for everything. Being able to interact with full desktop applications instead of whatever app I needed to through a remote has been a game changer. As of writing this review, I am comfortably reclined and thoroughly enjoying the experience. The hardware itself feels somewhat cheap but it was a 20 dollar keyboard. Looking forward to using this daily for as long as it lasts!

Sturdy and still going, almost 4 years later!
Writing this review after using the keyboard for around 3.5 years (4 years this December), and writing it with the very keyboard itself. Despite falling off a bed and onto both wood floors and rug-on-wood numerous times over the years, the keyboard is still in perfectly functioning condition (especially considering I've never cleaned it apart from wiping the keys themselves off). I've never had any connection problems, just flip the switch and immediately good to go. Alternatively, the battery life on this keyboard is sooo good that you could theoretically just leave it on all the time. The batteries that it came with lasted me over 2 years of use, which included many nights where I doze off with the keyboard still turned on. I've never tested the range of the keyboard, but it is fairly lightweight and can be easily carried or grasped with a single hand. The extra left-click button on the upper-left corner of the keyboard is also kinda handy, although not used often in my case. The only downsides for me, which don't even really bring the score down at all, are: when using it on a lap (vs on a desk or table) it can slide a bit, as the touchpad causes it to sit slightly off-center; NOT BACKLIT, I cannot emphasize how stupid I feel every time I buy a keyboard and only realize a lack of backlighting once I'm sitting in low-light conditions (aka every day for me); the F-row keys and their respective functions are kinda tiny and can take a moment to make out (especially in low-light conditions with a lack of backlighting); WASD gets the job done in gaming, but the actual up and down arrow keys on the right side are kinda annoying in placement and size. Between the product lifespan, low cost, and the versatility of being able to use it on just about anything the USB dongle will go into, I can only recommend this keyboard. As long as you don't need a numpad and aren't picky about the keystroke feel (with which I have no qualms), this wireless keyboard is a great deal.

Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch TV Keyboard Review
Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch TV Keyboard Review The Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch TV Keyboard works flawlessly with the Nvidia Shield Pro. Setup is incredibly simpleโjust plug the USB receiver into the Shield Pro, and youโre ready to go. No complicated installations or software are required, making it a plug-and-play solution for any home theater or media center setup. One of the most impressive aspects of this keyboard is its responsiveness. There is no delay in either typing or mouse movement, even when navigating menus, typing in search fields, or browsing the web. The touchpad is smooth and precise, ensuring that you can control the cursor just as easily as you would on a desktop or laptop. This level of performance is crucial for a seamless user experience, and the K400 Plus delivers it without a hitch. Another standout feature is the battery life. Logitech claims up to 18 months of battery life, and based on my experience, itโs spot on. Iโve been using it regularly for several months without needing to replace the batteries, which is impressive for a wireless device. Overall, the Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch TV Keyboard is a highly reliable and efficient accessory for the Nvidia Shield Pro. It offers a simple setup, fast and precise performance, and excellent battery life. If you're looking for a no-fuss, responsive keyboard and touchpad combo for your home theater or streaming setup, this one comes highly recommended.

Excellent product. Lightweight and small, without compromising too much on key size.
Just had it delivered a few hours ago. Tried it with my mobile (had to get a small OTG adaptor to get started). I also own the K480, and got this one because it has a touchpad. Comparing the two, both have unique features that I would not call positive or negative, because how one views a feature, or the lack thereof, depends on one's requirements. The plus-point of the K480 is that it connects through bluetooth, leaving the port free to charge the mobile (if you want to use it with your mobile/tab) or connect a pendrive to it. The keys are larger and better spaced out (important if typing comfort is a major priority). The K400 plus, on the other hand, requires the OTG adaptor, plus, the unifying receiver used to connect the keyboard to devices like the mobile, tab, or the LCD TV. The plus point of this feature is that connection is immediate. The minus point is that one must be careful not to lose the 'unifying receiver'. Also, if you forget the OTG connector, there is no way you can connect the keyboard to anything. The 'K400 Plus' is also lighter and slightly tinier: But comfortable enough for normal to large sized fingers to type without any obstacles. Unlike the K480, this piece has the touch pad. One main advantage of going for these keyboards ( be it the K480 and K400) is the amount of money saved...in my case, I saved 28K approx., the amount I would have to invest for getting a new laptop. And just didn't have the money to invest in one. Now, with this, I can complete most college assigments. And a couple of years later when my phone conks off, I can simply get a new smartphone for about 8-10K. If one calculates the interest accumulated, one has way more in one's hand than one thinks.

Good keyboard but a bit overpriced.
Very useful keyboard for a media centre PC. Very handy having both the keyboard and trackpad in one unit rather than trying to find a surface to use a mouse on. Keyboard is good to type on. The unit as a whole feels solid but the plastic it is made out of seem quite cheap - which the product definitely was not! So the prices Logitech charge are a bit high but its the only media centre keyboard on the market so you just have to deal with it.

The dongle is on the flap of the box.
Very important detail. You would expect the dongle to be in the battery compartment, but it is actually on a flap on the box. Seller was very polite and helpful when I enquired about it. On an unrelated note, this keyboard works with the Logitech Options software, but Logitech Options, the program to configure the keyboard does not seem to work with Window 11. Just something to be aware of. The keyboard and trackpad will still work, only there won't be a way to reverse two finger scrolling direction. That is a Logitech issue.
