Do you need the hose to be put outside to vent it?

Hi thank you for contacting BLACK+DECKER! Our portable dryer comes with a 4” diameter vent hose & exhaust connector, lint & exhaust filters.

What is the depth of the dryer with the vent hose attached? I'm wondering if it will fit in my closet.

Around 27"-27.5" from door to vent when attached.
