Will this connect to a thunderbolt/usb 4 port on a new imac 2021 please?

From memory that standard cable that comes in the box is USB type A to USB-MicroB. I bought a Type-C to MicroB cable and it works fine. I would expect it’ll work, but you may not get the full USB 4 bandwidth
