Pretty much a ubiquitous item for a journaler or planner. It is well made and has a great assortment of useful shapes useful in daily planning. It fits well in any size notebook or cover pocket. It is a small stencil so does require a fine point pen or pencil to get into the details of some of the shapes.

It works well, perfect for hobonichi

This is very small, so keep that in mind. Works well for my use personally with a Hobonichi hon a5. It has the right amount of flex where it can conform to the bend in a page. Good visibility. Just look into whether the size and format will fit your application.

I’ve seen reviews here talking about how this is flimsy and thin- but I think that’s the very point of this stencil. It’s as thin as paper so that it doesn’t add bulk to the Hobonochi covers you insert them into. Yes this can seem too small and flimsy for the pretty hefty price, but hear me out: I tried to save some cash by going for a much cheaper thin metal stencil on Amazon- it ended up ruining my pens by being too sharp and scratchy. Also, because it’s metal I couldn’t see the page while using it. I finally caved and got this one and it really was worth it. The stencil itself has grid lines so you can align it with the grid on the paper. The little checkboxes are so helpful and fit inside the grids, and the material doesn’t ruin my fine nibbed pens.

Surprised of how little it was but that made it better to stick in any one of my planners and carry for use with out worrying it’ll fall out. Plus the color is nice to spot easily on my desk as well. The numbers and boxes and lines translate well on all my Hobonichis, very compact.

I like this stencil because it makes a great little space extender for to do list and other tasks that allows your planner to be multifunctional

This is a great little tool that helps me add neatly drawn shapes to my Hobonicho planner. It has become an essential part of my everyday carry, and can always be found in my daily planner.
