BUBBA 3.5" Pointed Dive Knife with Non-Slip Grip Handle

Perfect size for killing fish. Fits easily on the arm or leg. I prefer the arm. Really sharp blade, and excellent quality like all Bubba products. Recently used the notch on the blade to pull my shaft, and that worked well. I spearfish in fresh water, so anticipate long life out of this knife. My dive buddy recommended this knife for me, and comes from Cali. His knife rusted a bit, so it is a good idea to rinse it off after being in salt water and oil it regularly to avoid that. In closing, best dive knife I have purchased so far, and a very good price as well.

One of my favorite knives for spearfishing. The holster needs a lot of work. It doesn't fit on my belt, the straps are not well thought out, and it seems brittle.

One of the few diving knives that stays put but is easy to get out when you need it without fumbling around with stupid mechanisms. It's sharp, corrosion-resistant and well-designed for spearfishing and handling with gloves on.

Overall I like the design of this knife and the grip of the handle and easy release case however I sent the extra money on this knife to avoid corrosion and rust build up. I was extremely disappointed to discover after my very first dive with it that the knife had already rusted! In addition, the sheath does not allow divers to attach to dive belts. For $80 it's an expensive piece of equipment that will wear and tear easily and needs material improvements to justify the cost.

For dispatching fish when spearfishing, this knife really does do well. Very sharp and VERY pointed. The blade seems to be rusting (albeit very slowly) even after cleaning, but will see how it progresses. The attachment straps are not great (bulky and double locking) but overall workable. In my opinion, you would do yourself good by attaching a lanyard or a small float to the knife/sheath as it is small and, given the application of handing writhing large fish, can easily fall away.

In addition to rust on the knife after 1 use, the top plastic buckle snapped off literally before i even got in the water. Contacted their customer service to see if they would replace the plastic sheath, and have had no help. Horrible product, will never buy another BUBBA product again after trying to deal with customer service.
