Since wearing the night brace, I have not had a return of the symptom. I have not used the day brace yet, but I believe if it became necessary to do so, I would obtain the same relief as I get with the night brace. She had a stroke and has no use of her left arm. She is in pain all the time do to spastic muscle issues from her stroke. This brace does help but it is easy for her to take off which she does at night and that kind of defeats the purpose.That is the only issue I have with it. It does go on easier than most hand/wrist braces no pulling over the fingers ect.
