Will this ring tarnish if wet often?

Nope it doesn't tarnish. I have gotten it wet almost every day that I've owned it and it is still beautiful. I wear it as my wedding ring and it is still perfect.

I'm looking for a titanium ring, but some reviewers say this ring is made of tungsten even though it is stamped titanium. Which is correct?

I have the same concern. I wore my 4mm version of this ring and it marked up more easily than I think titanium should. I think your concern is a good on. Maybe purchase one and take it to a jeweler or metallurgist and see what they say? Please let us know what you find out. I know Amazon is not keen on selling things that are not what their vendors represent the product as.

Was the thickness of the 4mm?

How's the thickness? It's not really think but it isn't "cheap" either... he loves it because its not to thin like the 2 MM... he didn't want anything to wide either and just found that this ring is a great fit for him..... I hope this helped
