Rip Toned Wrist Wraps & Lifting Straps Bundle for Weightlifting – Padded Straps for Bench, Deadlifts, Rows & Pull-Ups, Men & Women

Im not normally a big user of extra gear in the gym, however after a partial ring finger dislocation during a "mud run," and suffering significant soft tissue damage I was forced to consider lifting straps to assist with my "pulling" lifts (lat pull down, rows, etc). I was cleared for activity by a orthopedic doctor, but told to let pain be my guide. After trying out a pair of very well worn (and nasty) community use pair of Harbinger straps at my gym, I decided to order my own and went with the Rip Toned Lifting Straps + Wrist Wrap Bundle (best deal I could find on Amazon with good reviews). So far after 2 uses I have to say the straps are awesome. They do what they're supposed to do and they do it well. No slippage while lifting, no pressure on my injured finger, and I'm able to keep them in place with minimal pressure from my index and middle fingers. I've been able to keep lifting, and maintain my poundage thanks to their product.In comparison to the Harbinger straps at my gym, these are much CLEANER since they are new, they are a little over an inch longer in length, and even though the Harbingers are very well broken in -- the Rip Toned is much easier to work with due to the strap material they use. I find the more flexible material to be a huge plus as they required no break in. Personally, I think these will hold up very well over time, if that opinion changes I'll certainly post an update.As far as the wrist wraps, I'm not an extremely heavy weight lifter at this point, but today I did use them for support while doing some partial rep bench presses to work on my sticking points. Piled on more weight than normal to really hammer on those sticking points, and the wraps did an excellent job of giving me some extra wrist support.Overall great products, and when contacted with questions their customer support has been top notch!!NOTE: I did NOT receive this product free for review purposes -- this review is based on products that I actually purchased. (However I would love to try out anything they wish to send my way ;-D )

Initially thought wrist wraps were too short.After using for 2 weeks will confirm the length works quite well.Very comfortable, material does not chafe, thumb loop outstanding.Wrists felt supported during snatch, jerk, push press exercises. Slight nagging ache on left outside wrist during snatch has actually gone away!.I will miss that ache. Has been with me since 1972...Lift straps are very good. Tighten up nicely with little "break in " period required. No undue pressure on top of wrist during deadlift.This was true both during hi reps and low, heavy lifting.Am mentally gearing up to go for the knee sleeves, as soon as I figure out size using my metal tape measure.Hmmm, awkward...Must have new toy for Father's Day!Items arrived quickly, as advertised.Both lift straps and wrist wraps came bundled andWell presented in attractive packaging offering a personal touch that I found quite effective.

These straps and wraps are pretty well made. The stitching is even and the padding is nice, and the company seems to be pretty interested in providing a solid product. The straps are slightly longer than the Harbinger and Meister brands I also own. I got the grey-tone camo version and I really like them. My only complaint on the lifting straps, and it's a minor one that won't apply to many people, is that the padded area on the inside is about and inch to an inch and a half too short and I get the strap rubbing my wrist. I have very large hands/wrists so for most people this wouldn't be an issue, and to be fair, I have the same issue with my others straps too. It's not enough to stop me from using them or deduct anything from the rating, just a note for others out there with large wrists. I have no complaints at all about the wrist wraps.

Pros: Lifting straps feel solid and the extra padding helps during extended lifts. The wrist wraps feel good as well . They have a nice wide structure to them and have definitely helped me improve in my sets.Con's: I wish the wrist wraps were a little thicker and had a two stage hook and loop closure to them to make them a little bit easier to get on and snug for lifting.Overall good straps and wraps I would definitely recommend these items.

Quality and construction seems very good. I plan to change my workout routine from crossfit-style HIIT classes to heavy lifting again after my current gym membership runs up, so I decided to upgrade my old lifting gear. I've never used wrist wraps before, so I have nothing to compare to, but these seem like they will work fine for me. The straps are a huge upgrade from my 25+ year old straps. Padded wrists and much thicker, longer and slightly wider than my old ones. Having various colors to choose from is a plus too. I tried them out on some 50 pound dumbbells at my house and they work exactly as they should. The only negative is that the stiffness from being new makes sliding through the loop a little difficult, but after some use or even putting them through the washer and dryer should fix that. - based on first impression, I have no problem recommending these.

I got these straps to replace others I bought on amazon, they were about the same price but much better quality. So it is definitely a better value. As a lifter I got straps for support and these were more solid and not all flexible and elastic like the cheap ones and even the thumb loop felt more substantial on the wrist wraps.Customer service was also great I had a small defect with the stitched end of one of the straps where the thread was fraying away and they offered to send me a new pair right away. I am never buying another brand, I have been weight lifting for over ten years so I definitely know this is a good product.

I finally got to use these straps the other day and I would say they are almost too good. The straps wrap around the bar very easily and create a very snug grip. When pulling even at the top of my weight range, I felt like I could have almost relaxed my grip without losing the bar. Great quality product.The wrist wraps are very nice as well. I tried them out (even though I only use wraps when injured) and the wrist stability was excellent. If (ok, when) I get injured, I am glad I can rely on these. Also, they are very quick to put on, using the thumb loop and the Velcro - something one would appreciate if needing to take them off between sets.

Wrist wraps are great, they give great support and compression. The elastic strap that goes between the thumb and index finger is wide and comfortable, unlike the ones I have used in the past which were always thin and cut into the skin.The lifting straps are nice as well. They are long which gives plenty of length no matter what exercise you are doing. The only thing is I wish the print I bought ( black/white camp) was on both sides of the straps. The side opposite the print is white, but that isn't a problem with the straps functionality at all. That's a personal preference.Very good quality and I like both products a lot.

Ok, if I'm doing any heavy weightlifting, ie deadlifts, shrugs, bent over rows, lat pulldowns, etc., one issue I have is that the heavier I go, with either dumbbells or a barbell, my weakest body parts are my wrists and hands. My grip usually starts to loosen and i can't effectively perform the technique. Wrist wraps and straps allow me to isolate whatever bodypart(s) I'm targeting without worrying about my hands. These straps and wraps by Rip Toned are serious equipment for serious workouts.They are well-designed, well-made and are are comfortable and supportive to wear. I've made them an essential part of my workouts, and anybody interested in maximizing their gains should check this combo pack out. You'll find lots of uses for them.

They're satisfying!

I struggle with wrist issues, and slipping grip especially with heavier weights and the olympic barbell. These straps have definitely added to my level of workouts. I'm a lot more comfortable during deadlifts because of these straps.In addition they even emailed me personally regarding my satisfaction of their products which is refreshing to see. I look forward to purchasing further products from this company.

I didn't get a chance to fully use them because I lost them after a couple uses :'( but they did seem durable.For the times I did use them they were great. Good support, it's not very heavy duty like the schiek which is a good thing because I can have some flexibility in my wrist. The compression is great, very comfortable, and looks great. It is great for pushing movements and does help keep the wrist in a strong position.The thumb loop is also if good quality.

Good quality, great price, deadlifts feel so much better with a little padding under your hands, I've stopped ripping my hands to shreds. Only complaint would be the colours are not vibrant enough, obviously I didn't buy the straps for looks I just assumed they would be more like neon colours, there pretty dull, next time I might just go straight black!
