Is it even removable?** A: On my light ( I don't know if they have recently changed the design), the controller sits on top of the camera and contains the batteries and the on/off button etc. The wire connecting it to the light on the lens is fixed at both ends, thus making it one non-separable, unit. **Q: Will this unit work with olympus omd em1 mki camera** A: i think it should work with most cameras as it is an independent unit,gets its power from the camera... **Q: Will this fit the mfi (unique-to-sony hot shoe) of a sony a6400 and will it function correctly with that camera, please?** A: I'm not sure of your hot shoe connection, but the lights shoe connection is plastic..so cannot connect with the camera.. **Q: Is this compatible with the canon eos 1100d, with an 18-55mm lens (58mm diameter)?** A: I dont know for definite but imagine it will if your camera has a hot shoe, a 58mm adapter comes with this. What I will say is its unlikely you will use this as I've used mine once since I have had it. The flash isn't particular bright. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing value for money *by P***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2020* Once ring flash units cost a month's wages, being able to get this delivered for the price of a couple of pizzas is just amazing.OK the build quality isn't like it was made by Canon or Nikon, but it does the job pretty well. It doesn't come in a fancy box either.The lens adaptors are all plastic, so need care in use. The unit can freely rotate on the adaptor rings which makes the side lighting option a bit hit and miss unless you add a bit of tape to hold it stable.Really just amazing value for money if it keeps working.One thing to note with this I have only just realised; To get the power unit off the hot shoe you need to fully unscrew the locking clamp, not just loosen it like most other shoe mounted units. This is because there's a pin that engages into the camera and it needs to be fully out to release the unit and prevent damage to the camera. This has happened to me usually when I am packing stuff away rather than in film.I have found it eats my batteries. X4 Energisers lasted me 1 hour constant use on all the time before I got a battery low warning.
