Genuine article and works perfectly
Whew! Expensive aren't these? When I bought this through Amazon for one of the lowest prices on the web, I was a little nervous it would be damaged or stop working after a short time. Nope. This is the genuine article and has worked flawlessly.

plug and play fix
Shipment was fast and trouble free. Reluctantly, this fixed the problem and the Canon IPF6100 is working perfectly again. I wanted to give it 4stars , but the fault is not with Tiger Supplies. These Canon print heads haven't ever been clogged that I am aware of, but they do check out eventually. Some may have had ability to unclog and reset, but that is a rumor as far as I know. The printer will insist that you replace the head and if you are very familiar and satisfied with it's output it is simple to replace and you can keep on printing. I do panoramas which probably caused more thermal stress. There might be a hint of that being so on a thread in some forum. I going to try pausing the printer now an then to see if I can get more service out of this replacement.

Printer head lasted 3 months - no warranty
Installed this printer head, worked fine for 3 months with MINIMAL usage, and now needs replacing again. Must be a defective unit, but there is no warranty.

the product we needed at a great discounted price!
both print heads on our wide format printer (canon imageprograf 8100) were going bad and so first i checked with our canon dealer on replacements. the regular price from our canon dealer was a whopping $640 each, but he said they were on sale for a limited time for $525 each! I asked if canon would be willing to price match tiger supplies price of $444 each and they said they couldn't!! so we ordered both print heads from tiger. we received them quickly and they were easy to install and have worked great ever since. now i always check tiger supply prices compared to canon before ordering! thanks tiger supplies!

Great price, but Canon has a dog of a product here.
Wow I just saved a ton of money buying from Amazon and replacing this myself on my iPF-700 so I'm thrilled with that. Unfortunately I think Canon has a real dog of a product in either the PF-03 print head or iPF series of plotters. I bought the iPF when it first hit the market. I specifically asked my sales rep (I know) if Canon had improved their penchant for killing the consumer with maintenance costs. I was assured they had. Now I'm on my third or fourth one of these lousy, expensive print heads. All but the last one cost me ~$700 minimum to replace. That was factory Canon service and parts. That didn't include the extra costs of prematurely filling up the Maintenance Cartridge and wasting a ton of ink in each of the six ~$70 ink cartridges! This last go around I was quoted ~ $1000 to replace the print head and that was the last straw. I decided if I couldn't buy the part and do it myself I'd rather just go back to my trusty HP equipment and save myself the hassle. The long term cost of ownership would pay for the plotter!!! Well guess what? Replacing the print head is super easy! Go to the menu of the plotter, tell it you want to replace the print head and it walks you through it step by step. It is as easy as changing an ink cartridge on many inkjets. So I went from a $1,000 service call to the Amazon price on the PF-03. DEAL! In summation Amazon is doing a fine job delivering this item at a good price. Canon dropped the ball on the design. BTW, everyone I know has had the same issues, and it is always the cyan portion that is damaged on the print head on an iPF-700. On a HP you would only have to replace a $70 head...

Expensive, everywhere...was fast through Amazon and exactly right.
The head was OEM, and it came in the canon box...I was pleased. It worked perfectly and arrived overnight. Love amazon next day prime deals! I was running a couple of big Epson printers (7600 and 9600) that use two of these heads each. Amazing printers, awfully expensive to operate. This head also fits another printer...2200, I think. If you don't use them regularly (every day, basically), the print heads clog and need to be cleaned. Instructions can be found on the net for cleaning these, I've had pretty good success over the years. Every now and then, I can't save one (I think there may be a chip inside to force replacement every so many prints/months, cleaning seems to reset them a couple of times...then the just stop and I have to buy replacements. Ouch.

Great Printhead
We had our plotter go down and we thought the printhead needed replacement. Unfortunately, that was not the issue. These print heads are great and last a long time. Ours is going strong after 5 years of use.
