Recommended to us by a Specialist Dentist - seems to do the job. We got 3 tubes - one for the current treatment, and a couple of spares for use as and when required. Intended action seems similar to the sort of thing Corsodyl (with Chlorhexidine Digluconate), does (Corsodyl does other stuff too).

Best gel I've ever used for mouth sores
Gengigel is an excellent product that really works. I find it much better than other products on the market. I have very sensitive mucal linings in my mouth and this stuff is great. Was originally recommended by my dentist 25 years ago and I've been using it ever since. Works on cuts and splits, sore gums and mouth ulcers

Lifesaver for Sudden Dental Emergencies!
This was perfect! My wisdom tooth randomly came out while eating soup and i couldnt get to the dentist right away. Got this and it helped tremendously. The taste is minty, numbs well, and it seems like it helped heal or atleast keep swelling and discomfort from the area. I dabbed some on a small piece of a cotton round and placed it over the gum area to sit in my mouth throughout the day before bed. I definitely recommend!

Helping Mouth Sores
I have been using this product for some time; it is very helpful for mouth sores and inflammation. I ordered it online for the first time. The only negative is that it took a very long time to arrive.
