After 5 years my system began to have issues by showing inaccurate depths, clutter and was unable to adjust and view bottom structure. When the water temperature reading suddenly disappeared from the screen I contacted Humminbird and the technician told me it was probably the transducer. They mentioned if I was interested, to ship the entire unit for evaluation and testing to confirm if the problem was the transducer or something else. I declined and figured it was the transducer after reading similar stories about bad transducers on the web. The new transducer shipped complete with bracket, suction cup and necessary hardware.
