Schleich never disappoints. We have purchased several creatures and this time it was the 7" Fire Eagle Toy, perfect as a gift for a child or for an adult's collection. Exceptional design, quality and workmanship. We cannot imagine anyone ever being disappointed by a Schleich Creature! We would definitely purchase this item again, highly recommend as giftable for adult or child, and actually purchased totally unique models as gifts this past Christmas for every member of our family! We do love Schleich...it's just such a dependable company that has yet to disappoint in quality, imaginative design and stunning craftsmanship!

Great for D&D
Like other reviews I purchased this to use for D&D as my group is facing a gargantuan Rok bird. As others have said also the size for this fits a gargantuan creature and the details are pretty good. The paint job it comes with is suitable although it is easily repaintable if you want something else. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging that they sent it in. It arrives in a plastic bag and gets all banged around with whatever you order. When I got it one of the wings had popped off but luckily I was able to put it back on. Also that is something else you don't realize from this listing is that the wings are completely adjustable! It's a nice feature that can give it different looks. Luckily it's very flexible plastic so it getting jostled around it's not so likely to break. Overall you can buy this as a toy or you can buy it for D&D and it will work well for larger size Bird monsters. This model is definitely way cheaper and easier to deal with than some of the printed minis for D&D of the same creature!

The Big Bad!
It makes a wonderful D&D 'big boss'. To call it a miniature is a bit misleading as it is (compared to a 32mm barbarian) GIGANTIC! Hit it with a repaint and it almost killed the whole party!

Most underrated figure in the Eldrador line.
This figure is gorgeous. It's photos do it no justice. It's much larger than expected. The model looks something between a dinosaur and a bird. Nephew loved it, definitely a new star in his collection.

Another Christmas bit done
Grandson was after these. Wasn't too sure as never seen before. Quick delivery and adequate packaging. Good and strong for a 9 year old.
