It's really versatile to use. Though the base is heavy it's still portable and easy to set up and pack away. My partner uses it when in the hot tub and whilst reading and sunbathing in the garden. Only thing I was surprised about was the top section doesn't locked into the bottom half, so if you pick it up by top section it comes off in your hand. Not really a problem as you get used to picking it up slightly lower and the top section just pops back in.
