My previous nato rail from another brand bulged out too much from the top of my cage and it would always get caught on the inside of my backpack when removing/inserting my camera from the top zip compartment. Aesthetics aside it is functionally superb. It's hard to mess up on a basic product like a nato rail. The safety catches work without issue. I'm a happy camper. I'll be sure to grab more of these when the need arises. So long to bulky nato rails! i have seen complaints from others that there isn't enough clearance on the bottom of the nato rail for certain attachments but so far I have had zero issue with all my nato rail attachments.
