Works perfectly
These work amazingly well.I've used this with a variety of the Arduino family as well as some Teensy's and some ESP32s and it was *almost* plug-and-play in all cases (had to change the Serial object I was using depending on the type). Sound quality is surprisingly good for something so simple...

Documentation
A nice MP3 shield which arrived very promptly. I was however puzzled to find no accompanying PDF documentation as this was indicated at being part of the overall package. However, a few days after receiving the shield I had an email from the manufacturer checking that everything was ok with my purchase and the PDF file I was searching for was included inside that email.

Cant get it to work
It looks fine and the functionality is perfect but i cannot get it to actually work. It dosent help that there is zero documentation provided so very unclear which library to use.

Great little mp3 sheild!
Awesome little piece of kit. Using with my Arduino Uno all sounds played are through this little module.

Great MP3 player for my application of sound fx on a model railroad. Very good sound produced on 8 ohm 4 watt speakers. Works well on the 3 ohm speakers I had from an old home theater system also. I was surprised at how loud the volume was at the highest setting. I had to set my volume at mid range. Easy to understand instructions and very easy to incorporate into any Arduino project.

This is junk. The unit is dead on arrival and is covered with corrosion right out of the package. I am posting this about an hour after this was delivered to show what this company packages and ships. The package was factory sealed when delivered so this is what you get not what is pictured or described. The photos show the corroded connections and sweat from handling this at the factory. With 8 dead solder connections it's obvious why this product is not usable right out of the package.

I used a couple of these with Arduino projects. It's got a memory card slot so you can load music or sentences, or sounds. In your Arduino program you can play individual tracks. It works nice and is reasonably priced. Try it.

Worked by itself but was not able to communicate with the Arduino via serial communication (tested all possible variables)
