Got a great deal on it
Got a fantastic deal on this hive kit. Things to note: Foundation is not waxed so will need to do that manually before being able to use it. No pre-drilled holes. Quality is decent, some knots, but totally functional, no broken pieces.

Nice product rough shipping
Very nice for the money. I had some shipping issues and one box was destroyed but I emailed the manufacturer and they said the one broken part was shipped out. ??? Well I never received it but it’s ok I was able to fix the box with some wood glue

Worth it and will buy again
We found a swarm of bees in our backyard so naturally we wanted to help them thrive. This hive was fast delivering and came with easy to assemble instructions. It has been 6 months and still looks amazing and our small swarm is now well over 30k!

Required lots of extra work.
This kit does not come with screws. They suggest you pre drill and add screws which do not come with the kit. Also the boards are not all even. They have gaps and it wiggles back and forth i have to sand it down to fit tight. And I mean a lot of sanding not worth the sale price. I would pay more for screws and pre drilled holes and tight fitting boxes.

The hive boxes were not wax dipped or treated nor were the frames so price comparison these may be a little cheaper but ur getting much less
