Dan Candell's Rapid Induction Formula: How To Hypnotize Anyone Quickly

This book is to the point and spot on. Dan is very knowledgeable in hypnosis. He is easy to understand in his writing and someone you can contact if your seeking more training or information. I am glad that I purchased this book to keep and study. Dan writes clear and to the point showing his well-practiced formula. Having seen Dan perform and use this formula and now reading how to incorporate it into my shows is very helpful. We can all improve and fine tune our techniques, or simply add some flair to our own style. Dan’s formula is great and I look forward to using it this summer when quarantine ends.

Most of his examples are of group hypnosis and geared towards a stage hypnotist. Not quite what I was looking for, but useful, with a couple of new suggestions for concentration exercises to me.

This book works so well, you're going to act like a chicken after reading this review. The real surprise, is just how easy it is to master.

Even if you don' know anything about hypnosis, by the time you finish this book you'll know how to: 1. Do the four exercises that lead to the "main" hypnosis. 2. How to put someone into a hypnotic sleep state 3. How to send them deeper and deeper into a sleep state. 4. Who you should/shouldn't hypnotize This book doesn't teach you hypnosis for every scenario or any specifics....further studying will be required if you want to become a "master" but this is a valuable stepping stone. Basically, this book won't turn you into Yoda, but you'll be a respectable padawan by the end of it.

This is a very information-dense book — all useful info and no fluff! It may only take you a couple of hours to read, but you’ll finish the book knowing how to do rapid inductions and why each step in the formula works. I’ve been a hypnotist since the 1970’s and this is the most concise, useful explanation of rapid inductions I’ve seen.

This is a wonderful book for learning or furthering your skills in rapid inductions. I incorporated some of the techniques into my client sessions the day after I finished the book. It's an enjoyable and quick read that gets right to the point without unnecessary fluff. This will be a main stay in my hypnosis library.

Some writers are fond of taking simple ideas and making them more complicated. Awesome writers take complex ideas and make them clear as Dan has done in this informative little book. Get it as an intro or a reference.

Dan, gives a link in his book for extra resources. I gave my name and address and there were more books to buy. This is trickery and I dislike such moves. Hence the low rating.

Basically the book gives you the basic inductions you'll get from all other hypnosis books. But I appreciate that it's directly to the point, doesn't go through all the history and usual speal every book goes through. Keeps it short, sweet and to the stuff you bought the book for which keeps the book small page wise thankfully.

Great easy read. Well laid out with practical examples and online help.
