Matured yet still there
This movie showed a huge maturity in all the main characters which is seriously respectable. The music is fun, with a weird 80s ballad thrown in lol. There are some very serious and dark moments that actually caught me off guard and made the kids (3 and 5) uneasy and needed discussion. It's a movie I recommend is watched before you show your kids, just in case. It is noticeable that Disney gave the girls a slight change to the shape of their faces, which isn't distracting really but it's there. The detail ability of the animators is definitely on display with things like fiber details and intricate 3D shadowing. There are some very adult jokes made in a very PG way. Nearly Shrek level but still super Disney.... {no they aren't all sex jokes} Some of the jokes are definitely in there for parents, and make it that much more enjoyable. Some of my favorite scenes involve Olaf and yet at times you almost feel he was forced into the situation making it not mesh. Not sure why people complain of a "lack of villain" when that is kind of theme in the Frozen movies, even Hans wasn't really a bad guy just a minor antagonist to carry a subplot. This movie is visually stunning. The music is highly enjoyable. There are indeed some serious dark and mature moments that can cause you to be taken aback. Kids older than 8 might have a less uneasy time with it but still...all depends on your child's level of maturity. It takes place several years after the first one so seeing the character growth was really nice.

Awesome sequel
This is a great second part to the first frozen. While you don’t need to watch the first it is best and provides a really great follow up to the first! Awesome watch!

Daughter loves but....
My almost-two-year-old daughter loves Frozen 2 and I felt bad because it was her favorite movie but we were not able to watch it. So I went ahead and bought it. Do I believe a two-year-old should be watching this? No, I do not because it is actually quite adult-like content. This movie almost makes me cry and I am 21 years old. I am not a fan of violence but that is the type of world we live in and just have to teach hem them right from wrong. Plus, like the original movie Frozen, there is quite a bit of kissing for unmarried people in this (Anna and her boyfriend). There is a part of the movie that seems like Anna watched a makeout scene happen but I am not sure if that's how it was supposed to go. This is my first child so I am kind of protective of what she watches (eh, kinda) Now, I am not holding this against Amazon though they do have it in the kid's area of videos is my only issue with it. It is a good movie but is not really made for kids but I knew that when I bought it and just wanted to put it out there for other parents who are looking into getting this movie for their kids. I would think that they would try to make it a little bit more kid-friendly since the first movie was a hit for a bunch of smaller kids included my baby sisters when they were little ones.
