If not, what is it?** A: I bought the 1/2" one and it was 1/2" on the inside I had a 1/2" pvc pipe and the connector fit perfect on the pipe. **Q: If I order the 2.5" version, do need a connector piece to join my other 2.5" pipes to this? Or will my existing 2.5" pipes fit into this item?** A: As long as the pipes are the same "schedule" and the same material, they will fit. CPVC will not glue normally to PVC.
