Recently purchased and I am very happy with my purchase. Found it to be very useful.

This works good. Other half thought price is ok. A little more than what he wanted to spend but was the lowest of other places than he buy from.

I bought this for times we are boondocking with our camper to power the (many) 120V AC outlets in a camper that has very few 12V DC outlets, thinking this would be easier than rewiring the entire camper. It is only 1000 Watts so we don't use it for the air conditioner or even the microwave, but it is good for the many other devices that use relatively little power but require AC, like our electronics. One critical device is our call phone booster. I have only used it a few times and so far it has performed well.

Works fine with a load less than 200 watts. Putting a load in the 700-800 watt range this unit cuts out (ie Red light comes on and stops power to load -> Disconnect the load, power off, power on, but cannot connect the 700-800 watt load again).

This inverter is rated at 1000 watts continuous and 2000 watts peak so i decided to test it. At 700 watts the units and its cables which were direct connected to a deep cycle battery started to become dangerously hot and after a few minutes the unit shut down. I then tried to run a very small air-conditioner with it that has a rotary compressor in it that pulls 400 watts after it cooled off that my other true sine wave inverter runs fine when using the same battery. I had to quickly turn it off because the air-conditioner was making strange noises. However. when i ran another motorized load that uses 200 watts it performed fine. I do not know if this is one defective unit or just a bad design.

Excellent product

I use it hooked up to my 12v of my Fiat 500e then I plug in my Greenworks charger to charge my batteries for my mower.
