It's also a 1/4" socket driver
I suspected if you remove the thumb wheel it was also a quarter inch socket driver and I was correct. Handy little tool for appliance repair so you don't have to disassemble the entire machine for access. It's not a high quality tool but it does the trick!

Works great for pesky screws on Sewing machine
My new Brother sewing machine requires that I remove the screws to clean the bobbin area, as well as to replace the needle and feet. It's almost impossible to get to with the small screwdrivers and tool they provide. I ordered this ratcheting screwdriver to solve this issue & it's been wonderful!!!

Not so close quarters. Ratchet is not very sensitive.
1. Knob on top reduces how tight of a space it can fit into. 2. It takes a bit too much torque to turn the ratchet making difficult in close quarters.

Save your sanity
This tool takes the place of those weird little special-purpose awkward tools that come with ready-to-assemble furniture, sewing machines, etc. and that you will drop 70 times. This is ergonomic and will save you much frustration. Invaluable.

A little tight, but maybe that's good...
The ratchet mechanism is fairly tight, i.e., it takes a bit of torque to return to the starting point for the next turn, such that the screw or whatever needs to be fairly snug in order to just ratchet around...maybe that's good since the product is well made and very sturdy...
