Perfect for inline repairs
This is the perfect solution! I can't recommend this enough if you have a similar repair. I had an inline break in my pool plumbing (near the pump). I struggled with repair joints and PVC glue that would break or leak once under pressure. This device fixed the issue in about 10 minutes. No glue. No swaging. No twisting. Rough cuts only. No leaks. I recommend a strap wrench to fully tighten the connection.

Half the price of hardware stores.
Good as gold - Used to fix a leak in an existing of of these that took me 3 weeks to find and wasted God-only-knows gallons of water (100k+). I just wish they'd start making the gaskets out of EPDM or something better than the garbage they make these seals out of. It's not a knock at this brand, they all do it.

Ain't got no time for leaks and this does the trick
I don't know about the leakage. I prepped the two pipes and tighten sufficiently, therefore I didn't have any leakage.

Excellent quality & rigid
Solid design guaranteed to seal. While remodeling my crawlspace I noticed a rubber boot on my drain pipe in the middle of a 40ft run that showed signs of leakage on the support board and immediately ordered this compression coupling. I removed the rubber boot, cleaned/primed the pipe and installed this coupling and tightened secure. Nice tight seal and rigid. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THESE!!!! They are junk i bought 10 and within 2 hours of water pressure all had failed. Everyone broke in the same place. save your time and money and buy something else
