But when the book arrived I learned that it would have been worth owning even without Spike. It contains a variety of vampires, both from old stories and new, and from a variety of cultures. There are Buffy characters, of course, and Twilight (sigh), but also Blacula and Lestat and Gary Oldman and Nosferatu and Elizabeth Bathory and more. The art is outstanding and many of the dolls have small accessories. Spike and Angel come with both human and vampire faces. There's also a surprisingly extensive section of notes on the figures; I learned some new vampire lore.
