The shifting is as good if not better than the 12 speed setup. The cassette is a good spread of ratios. The only slight downside is a bigger gap in ratios between first and second but you soon get used to it so its not a deal breaker. The shifter came with a gear indicator window which I was initially disappointed with but its underneath the bar unlike the older shifters which were on top so really not that noticeable and for the money I soon got over it. I wont be going back to 12 speed.
