This company does make and Amazon does sell an aluminum strip that is designed for the top of doors. Aluminum finish is fine. **Q: I am confused by the photos. Our door opens inward zero wiggle room. Does the inside (underneath) have a little ledge to it also or just the curve?** A: This item may need to be cut to the width of the door. It will also need to be installed about an inch above the bottom of the door. **Q: Can this be attached to a metal security door?** A: I mounted mine onto metal clad patio doors with no problem, drilling each pilot hole carefully.
