Hot Words for the SAT

Fantastic way to learn many words en masse. Didn't feel like I was memorizing many words because of the way they were grouped by similar meaning. I highly recommend it for anyone planning on taking the SAT. After taking the SAT a recently i can confirm that many of these words showed up on the test, and definitely helped me get a few more points.

I love this book, it makes learning new words very organized and a breeze...but I really wish the book would provide AT LEAST 500 words, then this book would be exceptional!

This study book is EXCELLENT! The words are grouped according to similarity in meaning...there are tips for remembering and several exercises in each lesson. There's more. . .definitely worth the investment...even for those who have not yet entered high school.

Like the format to learn. I believe he will enjoy learning this way and it should help him improve his SAT score

My daughter is skeptical, but really, I use all these words - I think I found only one I could not instantly define or use in a sentence. The arrangement is good - categories of similar words.

Excellent word "clumping" method of learning and differentiating the nuances of similar words. It really boosts word power and helps me pick the perfect word more effectively.

It a book for my daughter.

This book is probably a good book to get you started in learning the essential vocabularies in the SAT. With the vocabularies divided into separate section depending on their meaning, It is clear and easy to get hold of. However, this would probably not be ideal for you to actually master the full words as you can't really tell whether you understand specific words or not. Best if the book comes with flash cards...

This is book is very helpful if ur preparing for SATs. But the shipment takes around 23-25 days as its imported from USA. So order accordingly!!

塾で勧められて買ったのですが、普段単語は英語から日本語で覚えてたため最初の頃は覚えも日本語で覚える以上に大変でしたが、慣れるにつれ身についてるのが実感できるようになりました。●内容は全部で35レッスンで構成されています。1から30のレッスンが似たような単語を集めていて、類語を覚えやすいと思います。31から35のレッスンはもっともSATに出題されやすい単語はアルファベット順に分けられて載ってます。全てのレッスンの終わりには復習テスト（SATのANALOGIESなど）がついていて、そこでも新しい単語がでてくるので単語力はやればやるほど覚えます。あと、レッスンにでてくる単語につき例文が2～3つ必ずあるのでこれは使いやすいと思いました。本気で英語を学ぶには少し足りないかもしれませんが、これ1冊を完璧に出来たならかなり力はつきます。頑張ってください。
