Unfortunately this did not work for me.The transmitter works properly but the collar (more like webbing with a clasp) is designed poorly:1) The thread of the prongs are pushed through the collar and held on by small plastic nut like pieces which are followed by the prong. When tightened this pulls the plastic pieces toward the neck of the dog putting stress on them causing them to crack easily.2) The prongs loosen easily causing the collar to fall of completely. I have discovered that if you forget to tighten these DAILY your dog may use the collar as an expensive chew toy.3) The static device has a button that turns it off and on (after holding it down for a few seconds) and it cycles through five settings when pressed once. Setting one is an audio alert only and 2 – 5 is a mild to heavy correction. As the dog moves the button is pressed. This cycles the collar through the options. If you have a dog that likes to test the boundaries he will get out.4) The collar battery life does not last as long as I wished it would. This is not a big issue because it uses 9v instead of a special battery as some companies use. If you are going to purchase this system buy a value pack of 9v’s.If this system could be used with another collar then I would use it. Especially considering that, to my surprise, it took a full day to set-up and the wire is now frozen in the ground. ### ⭐ Extra dog collar - non responsive *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2015* The collar and/or transmitter box is defective and the system will not work properly. I have called the company several times (suppose to have a 24/7 customer support system) and have not been able to get anyone to answer or call me back. I tried to request a replacement of just the two collars and the transmitter box, but the system only lets me put in for a refund. Hope to hear back from company to get this system up and running for our two dogs asap. ### ⭐ Good company, good fence control, and good line - TERRIBLE collars *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2015* I went through multiple collars before we got two that worked. The company handled the issue very well, so it's not an issue of customer service. The issue is with the product itself. Once I got two working collars, they ended up going wonky too. I've had them shock our dogs when they weren't anywhere close to the line, and that is NOT good at all.
