Most of the posts are dead on... it seems to taste more of cotton candy than cherry but I do taste a cherry flavor in it. I can't say that I would if I didn't already know it was supposed to be cherry, though. But the soda has a taste that I don't dislike.The negative: If you're a purple fanatic like me, "The Purple Stuff" just automatically brings to mind (at least for me) a purple beverage. Nope, this is almost clear with a yellow-orange-ish tint to it. While the flavor isn't terrible, it pretty much just tastes like cherry/sugar syrup with a little carbonation. I absolutely love it! It quit being available, and I didn't have it for years. Finally I decided to search on Amazon, and lo and behold it's here! My favorite was the Berry Calming flavor until I bought this one. This Cherry Cola flavor is a lot sweeter than say a Cherry Coke, but that's what I love! This has got to be the best drink I have ever tasted. I will say that I love things EXTREMELY sweet, so it may be "sickly sweet" (as my husband called it) for some people. It is a little expensive, but I buy these as a treat for myself. As far as the calming aspects, I do only drink them in the evening or when I'm home for the day. I don't know if they actually make me feel more calm, I just enjoy them as a soda. ### ⭐⭐ Poor impulse buy on a bad day... *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2015* I wish I looked at the nutrition facts before buying. First off, 10mg of Theanine is nothing, there's more in a cup of green tea and wasn't shown to have a calming effect in studies until dosages of 200mg or more. 20mg of Valerian is also nothing, most capsules come with a serving size of 1000mg. Rosehips have nothing to do with stress, they're just a source of vitamin C and look good on a can.
