This is a godsend. With 2 adult cats, I only needed to empty the cannister every 7-10 days, and the included roll lasted me about 7 weeks. Pros: - Absolutely no smell. At all. - Really easy to clean - Added convenience of doing garbage runs less frequently Cons (sort of): - The official refills can be expensive, but there are other cheaper alternatives available on here that I've confirmed worked just as well - I'd you weren't already using plastic bags to collect and contain your dirty kitty litter, this option does use more plastic than disposing flushable/biodegradable litter. That being said, the amount of plastic used in the genie is probably less than if you used a small poopy bag daily versus one larger bag once a week. The only thing I can't comment on is the included litter scoop as I prefer using the much larger stainless steel scoops (which work with the genie as well, you just need to scoop more carefully so as not to overflow the topmost collection chamber).
