Review: Great battery packs for extended gaming. - I've been using these battery packs for over 6 months and they work great. They probably last for about 10-15 hours of continuous play, but I usually don't let it get down that low. I usually just plug the controller in when I'm done for the day. It definitely lasts longer than my phone battery, so no complaints here! The one downside is if the battery goes completely out, you can't just plug the charger into the battery to charge it. I guess the current into the battery isn't strong enough to overpower the current being drawn out by the controller. However, if you wanted to keep gaming the extra long charging cable works great for turning your controller into a wired controller. Then after just plug the battery in. I haven't seen any decrease in battery life over the first 6 months.

A: It is 108 inches (or 9 ft long). Measured it with a ruler :).

A: BATTERY LIFE IS GOOD .

**Q: Can i use this to plug my controller into the PC for PC gaming?**
A: Official Xbox One controllers only communicate through Bluetooth. Any cable attached to it is only for power. No data ever goes through a cable attached to an Xbox One controller. If you're using Windows 10 on a PC that has Bluetooth, then you can use an Xbox One controller on it. You can even link your Xbox Live profile to a controller and "carry" it to any other Xbox One / S / X console or Windows 10 PC.

**Q: Will these work with Nkyo's charging dock? unfortunately this picture only shows one side of the battery, so I can't tell if they're the same.**
A: Depends on the Charging Dock and battery type you have.  These batteries have a USB connection at the front and connections on the bottom for the charging dock.  These do not fit on charge docks that did not come with these type batteries.  Apparently the design changed and the older style batteries are no longer available, but haven't found any documentation from Nyko

Purchased Oct 14, 2025. One battery went bad immediately. My fault was not sending the product back. No backplates fit exactly with xBox One (Robot White). This version of the battery no longer works with the double charging stand. You can only charge one controller at a time. I wished that they would have mentioned this battery pack does not work with xBox one contollers with a home button when I purchased. Previously, I would have no problem reccomending this battery brand.
