It comes with plenty of length so a wide range of people can use it (I'm very short so I cut off quite a bit). It takes a little bit of time to get used to if you've used a traditional jump rope in the past. Warning: If you get hit by this rope, its like a whip. It is quite smooth and quick. One thing, though: After I used ithe rope a few times, the adjustment screw on one end worked itself loose and fell off of the wire, despite the little black cap on the end. Fortunately the pieces didn't go far and they were simple to reassemble. As I had adjusted the length of the rope, I lay this to my not having tightened the screw tightly enough; hand tight is not tight enough apparently. You can really pick up speed with this and works great. It's a jump rope look for durability and this is it. The nut and screw is a nice touch when you don't have any bolt cutters lying around.
