What you think would be a deficit but I've used mine for four different jobs and it has worked perfectly. The design is still very good and the performance is as good as my automatic rigid I used to own. I would buy another one but I doubt this one's going to wear out in my lifetime. **Q: Will this cut 3/8" pipe? Product shows 1/2" to 2"** A: No. Smallest dies size is 1/2" tht comes with machine.
