Hot Box

For the price this thing is perfect. It holds up to rifle calibers and hasn't lost much material. The rubber is actually really good. It's super fun to chase around. It doesn't go flying but it does roll nicely. It keeps you working. I very much enjoy it.

I'm not an engineer, but whatever the material is that comprises this cube, it's amazing. I've hit this with .22LR, 9mm and 5.56 many, many times and there's hardly a mark on it. A few visible very small craters, but nothing you can see through -- no holes. It truly is self healing. It's got fairly live action, too. Most times when hit, it gyrates up into the air a bit and then spins across the ground a bit more. Great fun -- and good practice.

This is my first self healing target and it's much better than I thought it would be. I had a hard time believing that it would last more than an afternoon but after multiple hits from a .22, a .357, a .40 and even an AR15 it's still alive and bouncing. You can see it's been hit but it didn't suffer any tears or anything. I'm impressed so far. I expected to blow it into little pieces and we tried but it just kept bouncing around asking for more. I would definitely recommend this fun little ground target for about any caliber.

It handles .22 and 9mm pretty well, but those calibers don’t really move it around much. 45 ACP really makes it bounce and jump, but there’s no way it’s going to hold up for “thousands of rounds” as advertised. I’ve put probably less than 100 rounds of 45 Auto into it and looks like a piece of Swiss cheese with several pieces chewed off by rats. It also has some cracks developing. It’s taken about another 300-400 rounds of .22 and maybe 100 9mm. It has about one more round of shooting and will be in pieces. Save your money and shoot at some soda cans.

This thing is a lot of fun if you are able to target shoot in an open range type area. Clearly not going to fly in a regulated range but if you can go out to the country or desert for some fun this little guy is a great addition. It jumps up every time you hit it giving you the excitement of hitting your target and it can take a pretty darn good beating. We released a good 500 rounds in this sucker give or take a few misses (not from me haha) and it still looks good.

Somewhere along the way, I lost a ball version of this shooter's cube. Comparing prices here against what the local sportings good stores had and offered, the savings were enough to make me buy this online. I like how active this cube is when hit. Sometimes with the ball I couldn't see if I hit it because of the way it was wedged into place. This cube jumps out of the little dips and corners on the range with every shot. It's standing up to hits from the .22s and 9mm every bit as well as my old ball did. I have no doubt it'll stand up to my .54 just as well.

No issues works as intended, we have put many shots into it and it’s holding up strong
