As you probably know, Canon flashes can get pricey, especially if you’re a beginner or amateur photographer and can’t see yourself spending so much on a flash. Luckily, this flash does everything you can need it to, and does is at a great price. The flash is powered by 4 AA batteries, can be used on camera, or off camera with the included stand and has the capability to be used as a “master” flash with a cable (not included) or a slave flash in conjunction with other flashes, including the pop up flash on your camera. The build quality of the unit is great. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy and the flash head does have tilt and rotation adjustments. Flash power is selectable so you can decide how much light to add to your photo and recharge time is great at all levels, with lower flash levels being pretty much instant. There is a carry case included, as well as the flash stand and a diffuser. The one thing that isn’t included is the flash (PC) cord, but I assume that’s because not all cameras will use the same cord type and it’s impossible to include all the different cables required.

This flash is easy to install and operate. I have not used it enough to get an idea of battery life yet. The Battery door is kind of hard to get closed and if you are not a patient person I could see some people breaking it. Some reviews mention the flash spinning around on their lens, I can see that happening. See mine mounted, it is up side down and stays put just fine. I was considering the Canon for around $550. I am very glad I bought this one instead.

The function is good and features are many. Documentation is completely unintelligible and confusing. There is no way to access the features or understand the interface with my canon camera. I will have to seek out flash information and techniques from other. sources. There is no way the documentation can be understood. If you are a professional photographer and well schooled in flash setup then this is probably a good product, if not keep shopping.

When I got a new Canon D77, my older Metz flash and SIGMA ring light would no longer work. I took a chance on the K&F Concept KF-150 E-TTL ring flash, and I'm happy that it works well with the D77.

This is my first time using a ring flash and it was for outdoor macro photography. It was so easy to use and really makes the pictures pop. Good value for the money.

Cheap occasional help...

I wasn’t sure at first given the price vs. the canon but this is a great product. Well built, bright and easy to use. The rings are metal, not plastic. Great addition to macro photography.

I really like this flash...

So fare so good. Feels a little cheap, but still extremely great value for the price. I'm a complete casual user, really only using it for the occasional event where some friends and family are over. TTL works great too. Currently using it with EBL NiMH rechargeable batteries and its not noticeably slower than any other AA batteries (except when the charge gets low). With that said, because I'm not pushing it to its limits, I cant really speak to overheating issues that might arise from prolonged use. TL;DR: great for casual use

これまでのフイルムカメラの感覚で購入しましたが、今のデジカメではISOが非常に高くできる（好感度にできる）ので、必ずしもストロボは必要でなかったかもしれない。但しやはり使えば色は綺麗に出る。 取説が英語であり、いまいち内容も明確でないところもあるが、使ってみれば簡単。

I tried this flash when I received it, packaging is great by the way, little case to keep everything safe. Solid material, does not feel cheap at all. I tried all the features and everything works as described. ETTL works great even with the flash compensation, and works perfectly in manual mode too. Tried the left and right feature, again this does the job, I saw a difference in the object I was taking a picture of. The picture with this light was better than the picture with ambient light, so I will be using this flash for sure. Didn't try for a portrait yet. The gn number is not that great but I didn't buy this flash for distance. And we also can use this flash as a modelling lamp. The zoom also works.
