Original Hobnobs 255g

Wow, this is delicious. I grew up in England, but I had never eaten Hobnobs. I was more of a McVitie's Degestive guy. I had only tried the Hobnobs chocolate version. I did not really like that version and wanted to try the original. Now, I know why my sister was addicted to Hobnobs when she visited England. I have to limit myself to 3 Hobnob biscuits a day otherwise I would eat the whole bag of biscuits in one day.

I've been very fond of McVities Original Hobnob oat cookies/biscuits since I discovered them 25 years ago. They still taste as good as ever and have a delicious sweet-salty taste and excellent crunch. I have to stop myself from eating an entire packet of them once I've opened one up. These are definitely my favorite mass-produced cookies from any country.

These biscuits from the U.K. are a family favorite. They are a not too sweet treat, perfect with tea or milk (or coffee if you must.) I put them out when my adult sons visited and they disappeared like magic. As an added bonus, the carb count per biscuit is reasonably low, so if you are counting carbs, you can still enjoy one or two without guilt. The taste is simple but lovely., perhaps a little addictive........

I had purchased the product based on how frequently it was mentioned in a British novel series I favor. As it is shipped, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Hobnobs to not be crumbly from any rough encounters it had while in transit. It was shipped with a second item, both had been in a single box filled with package cushioning material. This was more than sufficient to keep them from moving around in the box. The biscuits have a flavor that is quite close to honey granola bars, although not quite as dry. It should still be consumed with a side beverage, such as tea or milk. McVities Hobnob Biscuits are available as an Amazon prime item, and shipping was not only free, but arrived in two business days. Several other similar food items have shipping costs that are equal to, or exceed the cost of the biscuits themselves. All and all, a great product at a good price with excellent shipping price and speed. I will definitely purchase again.

My favorite cookies together with Digestive. If only Amazon vould pack them better wheh shipping. Every time that I receive them, one third of the cookies is crushed...

I ordered 2 packages. I have not yet opened the second. The first package, with the exception of 3 cookies at the bottom, were ALL broken. Much of the package was reduced to crumbs. I ordered them for gifts and obviously did not gift either package.

These British Hobnobs are a great cookie. Good texture, Crunchy, good oat flavor
