The crunch is light, not hard, and won't break a tooth. They soak up tea easily so don't spill a drop on them or they will get soggy fast (lesson learned). There is a hint of a shortbread texture to these, but it's mainly a fine, tender crumb. Sort of a Ritz cracker texture but a firmer crunch to the bite, maybe a Ritz meets Saltine sort-of-thing going on. A hint of sweetness. It would pair well with a slice of cheese or meat as well as roasted veggie topping. I think a smear of nut butter would be delightful. Our boxes arrived in a huge outer box - with many of the balloon-type bubbles to protect the biscuits. The biscuits being heavier than the bubbles, the boxes were on the bottom of the box - unprotected - and the bubbles were all on top. We did have some breakage. I would suggest bubble-wrapping the boxes with the large sized wrap.
