Lowensenf Medium Mustard in Jar, 9.3 Ounce

This is a terrific German mustard that goes well with sandwiches, hot dogs, and any sausages that pair with mustard, especially Bratwurst. The jar seems to last longer than some other mustards that are waterier in texture.

Having served in Germany for almost 7 years I have had the real deal. It’s actually a famous mustard brand from Düsseldorf, Germany, known for its sharp, spicy flavor. Its direct translation Lowensenf ( Lions mustard) should let the buyer know this is bold but does not leave that hot , lingering taste. This is Mittelsharfer (medium sharp) It’s their classic variety — right in the middle between mild and extra hot. This is the real deal. I say, buy with confidence, I did.

You just can’t beat Löwensenf for a delicious mustard perfect for any occasion, but especially with sausages! It’s not too sharp or tart, it’s exactly the right level of spice and flavor. Expensive way to buy mustard, but it’s a lovely treat to have in the pantry

I have been buying Thomy Delikatess-Senf ( Medium Mustard) and have been happy with it except it didn't have much of a bite to it. Tried this mustard and it stands out! Talk about just the right amount of heat! will definitely be buying again!

I love the taste.

This mustard is what i remember growing up with German parents. It's a bit spicy and tangy. Minus one star because it took 2 entire months to arrive. From Germany! That's incredibly slow even it if is from across the ocean. The box was mangled and half open too. Luckily the mustard was wrapped (loosely) in bubble wrap so it survived, but by sheer chance. The sender needs to strongly tape every package, especially if it's going to survive a 2 month odyssey like mine did. But great mustard.

I like lowensenf medium but I got something else in the mail. I think the whole grain. I may have clicked on the wrong one. It was a happy accident though because I like this type as well. Any lowendsenf is great. Yum

I love this lion brand mustard. Only mustard we used at home for sauerkraut and sausages. Too bad it costs a fortune to have it shipped to me. Outstanding quality and taste and worth your while. Diana from Canada
