I'd really recommend that you get the
I always keep one or more of these handy. I've got a SHTF bag and a BUGOUT bag and I have at least one of these in each one. My normal carry guns are either .45 or 9mm so I normally keep at least the .45 version in my SHTF bag... with a little effort you can use the .45 for both 9mm and .45 but, I'd really recommend that you get the .45 and then buy the rest of the brushes and jags separately. I keep my extra brushes and jags in an old pill bottle along with a small container of REMOIL. I bought a number of these kits since my daughters and my wife all have emergency bags in their cars. They work like a charm and they are one of the most compact kits I've came across. I also like them because all the cleaning rod sections and primary cleaning attachments fit into the handle... which, I'd like to point out, was thought out well enough to include a lanyard attached to the cap to prevent you losing it.

Gun care basic kit
Hello. It is a good carry on gun cleanning kit. Obviously there are much more complete and professional gun cleanning kits but ifyou want to improve you equipment it is ok ok. You will have to buy separatle or add a gun oil and a gun cleanning spray and some pads for cleanning, but you can get all of this from other sellers. I preffer to get the best from every seller to clean al my Glocks after shooting with all of them. It depends on how much money and how big would you like to have your cleanning kit, as there are some big bags with everything inside. I just want to have something to carry on and mprove my equipment. The quality materials are ok and cleanning your gun is not a big mistique. The most important is to be responsable in using the best solvents, oils and sprays made for guns. Then is all passion and responsability for proteting your equioment. Good luck, this is a good price-quality product. Andy

Compact and effective
This is my second kit, I bought the first one several years ago to keep in my range kit. I purchased a second to keep at work. Compact, easy to store, and great for a quick field strip and cleaning. Note the current version does not come in the pictures hard case, and is in plastic clamshell packaging.

Good product
I have had this kit for a while now and used it several times. It is a great product and well worth the price. Even though it is plastic it seems to be very sturdy. I haven't had to use the extension yet since I only have short barreled guns which includes a 1911 with 5" barrel. It has worked well on all of my guns. I plan to buy another one so I can keep one in a couple of range bags. They don't take up a lot of space at all.

Defective Unit Recieved
Arrived in timeframe promised. This is 3rd of the Kleenbore PocKits have purchased from Amazon (different vendors), but 1st have had any difficulty with--with this one, the base cleaning rod is difficult to snap into handle, and almost impossible to remove. Previous kits were nice compact units that keep in a pouch in range bag with patches and CLP, perfect for quick pistol cleaning (short rod). Rod has a bore protector which is a nice add, but lacks a slotted patch tip, defaulting to either jag or mop tip for swabbing. Rating is for this unit only, and would rate 4-Stars if NOT defective like this one, but price on this one almost doubled in last 60 days (investigate ordering cheaper version and buy correct caliber bush/swab separately).

Kleen(Clean)
Good for a deep cleansing.

Handy and compact full kit.
The tube is nicely fitted for your hand. The main rod swivels at the base where it connects to the tube. They do this on purpose. Overall, it's a damn fine kit. I've scrubbed my .380 pistol barrel pretty dang hard with the brush over the past few months, and it's held up. The cloth wipe brush thing is kind of fragile.

Rod Stuck in Handle (TWICE)
Ordered 2 of these, one in 9mm and one in .22. The .22 kit works fine, but the 9mm kit will not release the rod from the handle with the red button. Exchanged for another kit, same problem. Older models of this kit used to be a simple threaded connection, but the new button release is poorly designed.

Sehr klein und Praktisch auch zum mitnehmen! Brauche es auch am Schießstand zur zwischenreinigung! Super in der Handhabung, benutze es an einer 357er Magnum (9mm) und hier klappt es tadellos! Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Compact and well built. Wish they had a choice of a nylon brush instead of a copper one.

Exactly what I wanted. Put this one (and another for the 9mm) in your range bag and you're set
