This thing is pretty high tech and probably more than I need but it’ll be nice to have! It does have a ton of features, however be warned that not every feature is compatible with every car. It does connect fast and it reads accurately though. Able to clear some codes and also able to read ABS codes that did not set off the light yet. The app is pretty cool to as it features ideas of what part to fix the code as well as has a cool feature that predicts what repairs you might have to make in the near future. Overall I consider this a good value for the price I paid. 4 out of 5 just because not all features worked on my 2013 Honda but it still did all the basic stuff and then some!

Well, the wifi you have to pay for and I thought that was included inside the OBD II. I feel confident with this scanner and is very helpful to have. Every time I took it to the garage they charged me $140.00. This is a great scanner for letting you know how serious the issue is. It comes up with possible problems and goes away. I am not sure who has On Star from GM. From talking to other GM owners have mention that On Star is the culprit of your car acting funny. I believe it. So, when I hook up this scanner it automatically erases the possible scam! This only is happening with On Star. I was told it sends a signal to the BCM and can cause all kinds of problems. So, I rate this scan tool 10/10! It is not like the dealerships have but it will definitely be better than guessing the problem.

A lot of great reviews. Easy to use. Was able to clean my MAF sensor-reinstall. Check engine light wouldn’t go off after the repair. This device was able to clear the light and it’s been off for 2 weeks. $90 for the scanner and did it myself. Saved over $400 over a mechanic and I still have the scanner for the next problem.

My next-door neighbor is a certified master mechanic who rebuilds classic cars from the ground up. Just when I developed a trouble light on my Dodge truck that wouldn’t go out and I needed to have it pass the smog test right away, he went on vacation! So I decided to try it myself, watched all the videos, but didn’t have a free day to try it out. When he returned and saw I had already purchased this, he looked at its functions, asked how much I paid for it, and was shocked by its quality for the price. He brought over his own expensive “professional” scanner, compared them side-by-side and said “Geeze, this compan’s is going to put us pros out of business!”

My old scanner (from the same company) cost similar money but could access all the systems on the car where this one can only access two, the only major thinga this has going for it is it can be paired to a phone via an app and can do live data.

Will not remove engine light showing on dashboard display even after clearing codes.
