... I painted a pine effect bookcase and I'm still happy with the result
A year ago I painted a pine effect bookcase and I'm still happy with the result. Easy to keep clean, no chips or scuffs and the top surface has had keys, coins etc put onto it. Only 2 coats were needed, no undercoating required. I've bought another tin for my next project.

It takes about three or four coats over melamine even if you prepare the surface properly and it scratches off easily.

Waste of money
This paint is terrible we done prep very well, but would not bond and if you touch it comes of so have to keep tin for touch ups as will be touching up all the time, dont waste your money on Dulux cupboard paint

Terrible stuff. Needs min 3 coats doesn't come close ...
Terrible stuff. Needs min 3 coats doesn't come close to the quoted coverage and the colour is not as shown. Its white! not off white/cream. It is absolute snow white. Avoid at all costs.
