This is going to be very biased because Jerry Lee Lewis and his sister, who interviews him in this DVD, are friends of mine for many years. This is an excellent interview and very intimate discussion in which Jerry opens up and tells about his start and shows how he plays. The camera angles give keyboard enthusiasts a view of his hands never seen before. The DVD extras include print-outs of music sheets. Well worth any piano player's while to own this and definitely belongs in the collection of EVERY Jerry Lee Lewis fan, and rock and roll lover. Kay Martin, Brooklyn, NY

For music, Jerry Lee can't be beat and his piano touch is excellent and no one can take care of a amelody like him. He is Beethoven in the type of music he does. If you like music he can't be beat. If to you music is noise, look for a guitar player. Carl

Jerry Lee tells it like it is here. Also you can see the position of his hands on the piano keyboard, so if you are inclined to copy his style of playing, you may do that.

If you are a true Jerry Lee Lewis fan you will love this. It is an interview format with performances included. If you're not a real fan you might find this boring.

Good personalized story of The Killer told by himself. I would have liked to see some other songs performed like Crazy Arms, but it was still entertaining and educational.

Wonderful dvd of recent Jerry Lee with some excellent camera angles displaying his tremendous piano abilities. I would have given it 5 stars if it included the complete Vegas concert.

Der "Killer" auf dieser DVD ist ein müder, gealterter Mensch, der diverse Pianolicks seiner üblichen Titel präsentiert. Eigentlich schade, dass eine solche "Documentary & Demonstration"-DVD nicht in den 70er Jahren aufgenommen wurde, denn zu dieser Zeit hatte man einen drahtigen, flinken und spielfreudigen "Badass" des Rock'n Roll im Fokus, der das Publikum in seinen Bann zog. In dieser Dokumentation darf man JLL auf die Finger schauen, wenn er seinen eigenen Stil des Boogie-Woogie und Rock and Roll auf den Tasten zum Klingen bringt. Seine Schwester und seine Tochter sind auch zu sehen, und die Lewis-Familie plaudert teilweise auch aus dem Nähkästchen, z.B. über den Anfang der musikalischen Anstrengungen des Mini-Killers. Die DVD ist für mich ein nettes Beiwerk zu meiner Musiksammlung in der Sparte Jerry Lee Lewis. Um ehrlich zu sein: ich hab sie erst 2 Mal angeschaut, und irgendwie ist der berühmte Funke nicht übergesprungen. Zu behäbig und wie ein abgebranntes Feuer lässt die Hauptperson dieser Aufnahme das Prozedere passieren. Dennoch: ein Einblick ist nett, ein gutes filmisches Dokument über eine lebende Legende liegt hiermit vor. Daher: wer ein richtiges Interesse an dem Künstler hat, der wird diese DVD gerne in seinem Regal wissen.

Jerry Lee Lewis a.k.a. The Killer is a one off his like will never come around again so buy this dvd and enjoy watching and listening to one of Rock'n Rolls greatest performers.
