The camera build is of high quality unlike other similar cameras. It comes as 2 separate cameras one; one with IR for low light video capture and another which you attach using the wafer thin cable. It is easy to set up and the accompanying manual is quite detailed. The app to use with it is very user friendly and found my camera in a flash. I was amazed at the video quality which is quite clear for such a tiny camera, even in complete darkness. The IR lights are invisible to the eye which is a bonus! All in all, really impressed. Would highly recommend.

It worked for a morning, then the trouble started. It froze several times and the connection kept dropping. I even sat with it next to my router and it still wouldn't reconnect. Then out of the blue it connected, for a whole 7 minutes.! During its rare uptime the picture quality was acceptable though not on a par with Ring. I liked the fact it took a memory card so there was no paying for online storage like some of these types of cameras charge. All by the by though if the thing won't work. I'd throw it off the local bridge but it would probably get a connection just before it hit the water, just to spite me.

i adapted one to record through my shirt button to catch bullying at my work place. it had good picture quality but the battery didnt last and there was no sound when using the long camera attachment

Overall happy with this camera, although it says hd 1080p the picture is a little grainy but clear enough to see what's going on. It is very easy to conceal and the battery life from one charge is about 2 hours although you can plug it in

* Picture quality is good even at 720p (1080p, 720p and VGA) available. * Night vision good but have not tried at long distance. * Motion detection seems to work very well (medium - high setting) although have had a few of misses but may be due to wifi drop out. * WiFi range is basically 15m through one wall any more solid objects in the way and range decreases a lot to none at all. (you can connect direct to device/mobile or to you router for access anywhere you can connect to the internet. just make sure your device or router is no more than 15m away) * Audio good and pics up well - note: when watching SD card recordings you need to download them to get the sound. * Built in battery - This will charge whilst powered but no indication of charged level so I found the best way is to keep it powered when in use. The battery when fully charged will last about 2 hours and does take a few hours or more on charge to may sure its full. (An indication of charge level and longer battery life would be better) * App usage - The App is pretty good on android not perfect but very adequate. Note: No program to directly run and control it on Windows PC. You will need to install an android emulator first and run the android app on it. On the whole though I am very impressed with the camera far better than I expected for its price

It is small. But why on earth is it printed in large type, on the front with its spec and description and identifying it as a "WiFi Cam" . Its not even on a sticker which could be removed. Ludicrous. Also night vision video is pathetic. I wanted to get video of foxes in our garden at night - I couldn't even identify the images as animals ! Absurd quality. The ONLY good point - it is small. Oh and it could be used to keep an sd card safe whilst not using the card for something else.

Worked great for one week but not motion detection. Unplugged and moved to a new location the camera refused to link to WiFi or work with app. Tried the technical support email and got two replies telling me to use the reset button. Had already tried this countless times without any success. Then technical support emails stopped so have a useless camera. Overall can’t recommend this camera at all. Waste of money

Wasn't sure what to expect, we wanted a small camera to monitor the front of our house as things have been taken from our garden. The packaging is great no excess, it's a neat little package. Comes with all the bits you need and easy to set up. Mine is stuck to the inside of a window looking out. So far so good. Image quality is great. The mobile app was relatively easy to set up. I am going to give it a while and possibly get another one or two.

Works really well. Make sure you use a USB adapter with enough power. Company support is stellar. They really stand behind their product too!

It records sound with video if it is used as DV. poor video & audio quality on dv recordings. Live feed has also poor quality audio. and when you click recording through web app, it does not record sound with picture. i checked it every single way by downloading videos, played on different devices and computer. NO SOUND RECORDED with video at all if records through web app. Its not smart and kill the purpose. It has wide angle. But extra lens has a very narrow angle and very poor picture quality. I purchased two cameras. One camera worked and the 2nd camera has purplish picture and image with both lenses. I think their tech might be able to fix the audio issue by updating their software. I returned one which has purplish video and image and extra lens was very narrow. Two Same product. one is near poor quality. and the 2nd is the poorest quality. I am not going to recommend it. thumbs down.

Its what you expect .the reset feature is handy as the camera its self is quite technical took me a while to figure out how to switch lenses but you slide the back off use your long nose picking nail to release the small black clamp thats hinged closet to the camera then pull out the built in camera lens wire tape (its a bit sticky but it does come out) then push the tape wire as far into the slot its comeing out off to make room for the flexible extension its tricky to rest the wire in place while you close the black plastic holder thing .it might be Easter to have a friend push it Closed while you hold it in place .then gently put the sliding backer on its a tight fit but thats good .it needs to hold the lens in while you position it. The picture isnt the best and when I first used it it would only capture the first 12 seconds of a video .but I pushed the reset and it worked fine .excited to try the wifi .comes with every attachment you need to secure it to every surface.

Pros: Camera quality is not bad (that includes night vision). Cons: Just after first day, device stopped recording to micro SD card. So, it is only providing live-stream now (so sad). No good support received yet to resolve the issue. The app required to use the device (lookcam) is of very poor quality. There are no proper instructions. The app does not update the device settings even after values are provided on the screen, which means it just does whatever it came with. In summary, it is not serving any purpose as (surveillance) live-stream without storing the recordings is useless. It looks like money and time/efforts were wasted.

I liked the size, wifi connectivity, though at times can be spotty. The picture quality in good lighting is great. I do think the manual could be improved. The small pictures that show how to change lenses (even using a magnifying glass) are too unclear, as is the description re: removing the main lense. I still have not succeeded in doing so. I also wish the manual would explain the uses of the lower icons and upper icons that appear on the smart phone screens when monitoring. It would be great if there was a PDF file which would be standard size that one could download. As mine basically has a useless night vision mode, I have given up on trying to use t. Maybe it is defective?
