Wow! If you have a Cadillac and need to replace a FOB, this is the way to go. It was so easy to program that I was surprised and thought I didn't do it correctly, but I did. Things to keep in mind, it doesn't have the Cadillac logo on the back and you will need to have the key cut for your car if that's important. Also, the instructions are too generic which I understand as some models have different instructions. The instructions are actually in the owner's manual. Who knew? I think the only reason folks give it a bad review is they don't know how to program it. Oh, I saved $500 from the dealership and $200 from a big box membership chain.

Start your car. Click the button with the car symbol and “i” that controls the screen on your dashboard. It should be the second one (picture attached). Click until you see “press ✔️ to relearn remote key”. Hold down the lock and unlock button on the new fob until the car beeps. The screen should now read “remote key learning active”. Voilà. Your fob is now set up! (I learned this from the “Best Car Fixes” channel on YouTube) *Edited: you can only have 1 FOB synced to your vehicle at a time. I bought a second and it deactivated the first as soon as it was synced.

Woke great easy to program

I programmed it and it works the lock and unlock but that’s it. I’m very disappointed that it doesn’t work the remote start and the hatch because that was the main reason for buying it

It Works Like it's Suppose To...2011 Cadi Cts High Feature...Programming was litle Tricky but Not Bad.... The Car has a 4 Fob Capability, So You need to know how to program them without getting the Fobs to Interfere with each other ! Read the Owners Manual or Go Online Here's the following....For Existing Fobs You wil have #1 & #2 Position. (drivers) ..To add 2 New Fobs, You'll get stuck on Fob #4...I took My Original Fob Put it inside the House and started from Scratch...Dashboard Says wait 10 min, 3 Different Times.. (30 Min Total While Communicating )...Bamn It Works..I Now have 2 #1 Fobs & 1 #2 Fob, NO #3 or # 4...Works Pefect... Do Not Get Confused on Remote Start.. Remote Start Only Works Once and has to be reset By Turning key on and off before it resets for second Start...That Simple...I think I missed that with the 1st remotes....that's why I couldn't program #4... The Car is completly Keyless... It Locks and Unlocks when Fob is within range Automatically.. My Wife Loves Her Cadi !

These do work good, but the rear hatch glass unlock and rear tailgate open buttons will not work. Lock unlock and remote start work. What I did was take both keys apart and put my old keys computer chip into the body of this key with the new keys battery and programmed it to the 2007 Escalade. You can also program keys yourself on this suv YouTube the video and follow it it’s easy don’t spend money at the dealer.

Worked with my Cadillac srx 2012. Had to take it to dealer ship to get key cut and programmed. Was cheaper than ordering from dealership.

2008 CadilIac STS Platinum- was expecting this to not be as easy as it says due to some reviews. Followed the instructions. A few times, it came up as "wait 10 min". That was only because the old key fob was starting to go bad (not battery). I tried two more times with same message. Then I put the old key fob on top of steering column to get close to the push start, turned key to unlock 5 times fast, pout new fob in programming pocket, and done! So easy. Ordering another one for when the old one goes bad and doesn't work anymore at all.
