Also, the tannins in the (tea substrate) Kombucha significantly alters the sample color so the ph indicator solutions are not accurate, and my fermentations were off by at least 1 full PH. The PH60 read the precise value that exactly matches the research (I.E. Taste, bitterness, oder, CO activity etc).
