Skor Toffee Bits, 3-Pounds

I used to get Skor Toffee Bits in the grocery store but now I can only get it on line. I make Toffee Bars and I prefer to use the Skor Toffee bits. So I was happy to find them on Amazon. I've tried other brands but they're not as good. My only issue is that I can't get them in a 1 lb bag. I don't make them as often as I used to so I have to put them in the freezer.

Always delicious! I ordered the "bits" thinking they were bite sized candies. Rather than returning them I just sprinkled them over ice cream (Yum!) and going to make some chocolate chip cookies and add them to the recipe!

I had a toffee craving just recently and couldn't remember which bar I liked best. Now I know it was Skor! The flavor is even almond-y compared to the Heath bar which I also ordered to compare. Heath has the ingredient of vegetable oil after sugar. Skor does not...the top 3 ingredients are sugar, dairy butter (milk), almonds! You can taste the difference and it is divine! I only wonder how I'm going to consume 3 lbs. of these bits! Expiration lasts one year but I may freeze a good portion of it since I eat it as a snack.

I did not read the exact description and instead of candy bars I got these toffee chips which it does say. I was very surprised to learn that even unopened there was no refund or exchange. Lesson learned. They do taste good but I am not a toffee cookie guy.

Frustrated with the impossibility of finding a decent toffee flavored syrup for my home coffee needs, I decided to start making my own. Not only is it better than anything I’ve ever tried in this flavor profile (that’s right, Starbucks…I said what I said), I was able to cut the carb total from the recipe in half by substituting golden monkfruit for raw sugar. The Skor bits melted perfectly and taste amazing. Most delicious game changer ever!!!

These toffee bits are a darker color and texture (softer) than the first order I received. And, taste closer to Heath. Disappointing. I will make my own toffee bits for baking recipes. The taste of these is very syrupy in comparison with the first bag of Score bought.

I sprinkled these on Ice cream, and they're very tasty pieces consisting of Toffee bits and NO CHOCOLATE. I will order this again, as it's a very GOOD DEAL. I added them to cheesecake, Yummm! I plan on making Cookies tonight, and later muffins... I am pondering the possibilities! What would you make?!
