Rit All-Purpose Liquid Dye, Denim Blue

Item key: A: 100% cotton tank B: 100% ribbed cotton tanks, some discoloration (3 of the same) C: 100% crinkle cotton gauze shirt D: 55% linen 45% rayon outer, cotton lining dress E: bonus 100% linen apron (no before photo) I did 1c salt and 1Tbsp dish soap in my laundry sink with very hot water for each batch. Batch one I did almost 1/2 the bottle and did items A & B (plus the unlabeled navy top, which did bleed navy into the water after I took out the tanks and I’m waiting to see what shade it ended up; so far, not recommended). The tan seams are noticeable on all the tank tops. The ribbed tanks (B) already had some discoloration and dyeing did not fix this, though it may extend their useful life a little. The tank (A) took the dye evenly. Time in dye was maybe 20-30 minutes. Batch two I did much less dye, a couple tablespoons maybe, as I wanted a lighter end result for items C & D & E. The light pink seams are not noticeable in C & D and they dyed evenly, though they ended up in very different shades of pink. The apron (E) was a last minute addition and originally a faded, stained greenish-beige; it took the dye fairly evenly and covered most of the stains. Time in dye was much shorter, less than 15 minutes. Overall I’m very happy with this dye. It’s a nice warm orangey pink and, because the dye is very concentrated, you can easily customize/build the intensity of the color. This is a great color for soft autumn color palettes, especially if you need to adjust a pastel pink. It was easy to use and I’m glad I’ll have extra on hand.

Have 4 pairs of wrangler pro rodeo boot cut jeans that were still in good shape but badly faded. I could either toss these pants or dye them. Found this Rit liquid Denim Blue dye. Amazing! Easy to use ( I did it in our top loading washer...they don't recommend front loading washers). They came out perfect and looking brand new and the dye didn't color the gold thread stitching on the back pockets. A lot cheaper than buying 4 new pairs of jeans. Also, if your feeling apprehensive about dying, on the back of the bottle label there's a Rit website video that shows you step by step how to do it. I recommend you use the liquid Dye rather than the powder form of the dye. Also, it didn't stain the inside of the washer or drier.

Works, my favorite pair had a line from staying inside washer too long, spot treated line works well with natural fades. Bleached spots will turn black if dyed with rite it won’t color match properly

Beautiful color. Unfortunately I was trying to dye a stuffed animal that was polyester and it didn’t really work but my test cotton swatch turned a really nice color. Check the type of fabric/material you plan to dye before purchasing.

First time ever using Rit Dye. I bought an old chair and turned it into a throne for photography purposes. The chair was a yellow-green velvet cushion. I used this dye following some online directions and dyed the fabric of the chair. The super bright yellow took a couple coats, but it turned out pretty nice!

I got this to cover up stained clothes and it worked really good! the color came out a bit more dark charcoal gray, not black, but it still hid the stains and looked nice when it was done.

On cotton this comes out a beautiful med/dark sage green. On a synthetic fabric, it comes out pink!

Never dyed clothes before so this was very new to me. Rit dye is simple to use follow instructions and a good way to fix or save clothes.

Amazing colour saturation, it worked perfectly on two test garments and sadly didn't take on the third garment of the same material that was actually needed in sage 😂

Mi trovo benissimo con questo prodotto. Addirittura molto meglio di un noto competitor italiano. Ho colorato due capi identici uno con il rit royal blu e uno con il blu marino del moro competitor. Quello con rit è uscito blu, quello del noto competitor azzurro, e ripeto il capo era identico, stesso modello, stesso colore, stessa composizione. Unica pecca è che consigliano di tingere con lavaggio a mano. Assolutamente consigliato.

Falta mejorar empaque porque me llegaron 2 botellas semiabiertas y se manchó, no se tiró mucho pero los dedos manchan mucho
