The telescoping rod with the reel built in give me that classic rod feel, and afterward this thing collapses down and stows away. Very helpful for deeper excursions in the field. The attention to detail on the product as a whole is phenomenal, the included line is strong and thick, all parts fitting together nicely, with some anodized red aluminum parts and a solid cork handle. Well thought out. My kit shipped with some classic flies which have been nabbing bites left and right.
