For the masters
Im in sales and have to use a pen to present multiple times a day. Blue is the best color for sales and filling out contracts. The fine size is the absolute best. I have a team and everyone gets one as a gift. I purchase one box a month. Nothing flows like this pen. Half of the entire sales floor is now using them. I tell them to write it with a black pen and separate paper with the blue and ask them which paper would you buy side by side 100% go blue. Its very obvious and a tool. Rubbing alcohol can easily remove the ink if it gets on your skin and hand sanitizers work as well. I've seen pictures of a vice president of the US holding the blue fine size. Which is exactly the one that's best. Not supporting just sayin!

Best pens ever, 100/10
These are my favorite pens ever. They work well and last a relatively long time. They’re nicely made with a sturdy steel clip and narrow profile that feels comfortable in your hand. A couple notes on usage: - You don’t need to use much force to get the ink to flow. If you press down very hard, the tip can get damaged and flooded. (I like this, because pens that require a lot of pressure eventually make my hand cramp. With these, I can write comfortably for hours.) - Agree with what other people have said about the cap. Because the ink is liquid smooth, I can see how the cap could come off and stain things if it’s under stress/jostled around. Just keep it horizontal in a pocket of your bag and it should be fine.

My Writing Companion Through the Years
I have used these pens for more than 25 years. They are great. I even give them away as small gifts, people really seem to like them.

Sheerness of the finest quality!
Apparently, I'm supposed to mention "easy to hold", "sheerness", and "value for money" in my review, so here goes... These pens, like most writing utensils, are very easy to hold. If you've ever held a pen, you will be familiar with holding these pens, too. I'm not exactly sure what "sheerness" means, but there is a clear view window for the ink level that's very handy. Or do they mean kind of like muchness? Like, can these pens lose their sheerness the way Alice lost her muchness? IDK Aaaaaaaand, they're not a super great value for the money. Not terribly expensive, but they could be cheaper, man. They do write pretty awesomely, though. They don't have that weirdly pleasing scratchy feel that the .5s have, but they do have a heavy, smoothness when writing with them that you don't expect from such a light weight pen. I write with a heavy hand, so that may cause a variance in experience. I do recommend them. Write on, brother!

Good pens if you prefer felt tip pens but need ballpoints
I usually hate ballpoint pens, but these are tolerable. I almost exclusively use felt-tip pens, specifically Pilot Razor Points. There are 2 situations when you need a ballpoint pen: 1. To write on a carbon-paper form. Felt tip pens do not exert enough pressure, the writing will not transfer. 2. To lend to plebeians. Plebeians (i.e. most people) will exert far too much force on the tip of a felt tip pen, immediately crushing it and ruining the pen. These are tolerable for the following reasons: 1. They do not require lots of pressure. Most ballpoint pens require a huge amount of pressure, or no ink flows. 2. These pens work at a highly slanted angle. Usually, ballpoint pens need to be nearly straight up-and-down, perpendicular to the page. This is unnatural for me, I am used to holding the pen at an angle. These write well at an angle. I hope these don't dry out super fast, I have not owned them long enough to determine that.

Best pens ever
These are my favorite pens - arrived quickly! Only negative is that the box was smooshed so when I opened the package they all fell out, and I can't get them to stay in the box.

Enough ink in the barrel that lasts and lasts. A tip with the fineness that allows you to form well defined characters but also with the smoothness that helps cursive writing. And priced just right that it’s not agonising if you were to lose it

I used to previously swear by the G2 gel pens, but these are way smoother and require less pressure. The ink in these is water based rather then gel based, so the properties are a lot closer to those of fountain pens then ballpoints. (I have refilled empty V7 pens with fountain pen ink, and they work almost just as well). This means that these pens are SMOOTH writing, especially when held at a slight angle. They seem to have a sweet spot position, where the line it lays down is thicker then 0.7mm but writes a lot smoother. Find the angle that works best for you.(This same sweet spot also exists on the V5 pens, but not the retractable v5/v7s from my experience). One of the downsides is that you need to have good quality paper, otherwise the pen feathers just like fountain pens. It also bleeds through to the back on some paper, so you may only get to use 1 side. On the other hand, if you use non-absorbent paper, they write great, but do smudge, as they take a while to dry. The capped version of the V5 and V7 seem to write better/smoother then the retractable versions as well. Overall, the smoothness rivals that of fountain pens, and requires a lot less pressure then G2s to write especially if you can find the sweet-spot angle where they glide without pressure (to be clear, you still need to press down, unlike with FP's, but these were good enough to convert me for in-class use for note taking). If you like the G2 but want something even smoother and requiring less pressure, or you're sick of pressing down on pencils, give these a try!
