Argan Oil Body Butter Jar, 8 Ounce

This body butter is the BEST! I am a regular at Bath & Body Works and I can't even tell you how many lotions, creams, and body butters I have from there. I also have body butter from The Body Shop and various other places. I've had dry skin my whole life. This is the best product I have found in 40 years! It goes on silky smooth, lightweight, not at all greasy, but yet it somehow manages to moisturize my skin. It feels like a deep penatrating moisturizer. Not to mention the smell is amazing! If I could find a perfume with that smell, I would stock up! I can't pinpoint what it is, sometimes I think I smell almond, other times I think I smell cherry and other times licorice. Honestly I could be wrong about all 3, it just smells wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has dry skin, who wants a great smelling body butter or someone who has normal skin who wants to try it out. Give it a try!

This is a really wonderful product. It really hydrates without leaving a greasy feeling. It might be too much for those with normal skin, but for my really dry skin it is wonderful. I do not have many issues with being sensitive to products like this but I would not see that it is overwhelmingly full of anything that could bother anyone -- it seems mild in smell and other possible irritants.

So far, after one day of use, I really like this product. I had been Josie Maran's whipped argan oil in Sweet Cranberry and I was in love with that but had to switch to something more affordable. This product is similar in texture although slightly thicker than Josie Maran's. The scent, which was not in the description, is very light and reminds me of grapefruit. I have a problem with strong scents and can't use anything flowery or highly perfumed. This is very pleasant and subtle. It leaves my skin very soft and is actually slightly less greasy than Josie's. I am not sure yet if it compares to the long term benefits of Josie's. After using Josie's whipped argan oil my skin was incredible. I can't even describe it. I am hoping this will do the same for my skin and I have high hopes.

very strong horrible smell cannot use I thought it was supposed to be a very mild fragrance

I was hesitant about this purchase due to the comments about the scent. I have the Sweet Citrus of the Josie Maran brand and LOVE it. I ordered it anyway, as it was 1/3 the price of JM. Much to my surprise, I really like the scent. Probably as much, if not more than the JM Sweet Citrus. I didn't feel it was overpowering as some noted. It feels creamy and doesn't leave a greasy feeling afterward either. I will definitely purchase again as I have found something reasonably priced that I can apply liberally, unlike the JM-due to the cost.

I wasn't really impressed with this stuff. It has a really weird smell that I didn't like at all. It wasn't worth it for me.

This body butter is by far the best out there for the money! It compares to the Josie Maran argan oil lotion. I hope they don't stop making it!

When I ordered this, I thought that I was ordering Josie Maran's Body Butter. I have used that before and loved it. Once, I received it and realized that it was not JM's Body Butter, I questioned it ... I was presently surprised!!!! I love this product. It completely moisturizes my skin and in some places, I have really dry skin. I am a self-tanner. This helped me keep my tan a little longer. Definitely a great product! Lots bang for the buck.
